  2. Stringent safeguarding policies: Formulated by EEP’s central safeguarding team, these regulations are overseen by dedicated health, safety, and environment (HSE) committees at our school. This comprehensive approach guarantees the social-emotional well-being of our employees and teams, providing them with a safe and supportive environment.
  3. Safeguarding training: We organize regular safeguarding training programs and workshops for educators, parents, and blue-collar employees. This ensures that every member of our school community is fully aware of and understands our safeguarding regulations. 
  4. Risk assessments: Regular risk assessments and continuous enhancements to our facilities and campuses further reinforce our dedication to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment. EEP's central health, safety, and environment (HSE) department mandates that all student events and trips undergo a rigorous safety assessment to align with EEP's safeguarding guidelines before being authorized. 
  5. EEP’s safeguarding platform: EEP has created this platform to allow for the regular and up-to-date logging of safeguarding incidents, ensuring prompt and suitable action to maintain students’ safety and well-being. 
  6. In-school pastoral departments: Our proficient counselors are ready to assist students in any issue they might be facing in school to support their psychological and emotional health.
  7. Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs): Our DSLs are members of the school senior leadership team who take responsibility for safeguarding and child protection, responsible for maintaining the community’s safety and reporting to EEP's central team on any issues.

Safer Recruitment Policy: This entails a set of guidelines put forth by EEP's central HR unit designed to ensure that the individuals hired are suitable and appropriate for their roles, particularly when working with vulnerable groups such as children. This is done through detailed background checks, thorough screening procedures, and special training for recruiters to ensure the hired individuals comply with EEP’s safe recruitment policies.

Professional Development

  1. Recognizing the pivotal role of our educators, we prioritize their professional development and growth, empowering them to become even more effective and inspiring teachers, ultimately benefiting our students and contributing to our overall success. This is achieved through:
  2. Trainings and workshops: EEP's central professional development department regularly organizes workshops and training sessions, allowing educators to learn the most updated teaching strategies, enhance their skills, and collaborate with fellow educators across the EEP network of schools.
  3. Online courses: Our educators have access to online courses through a variety of platforms, with learning materials tailored to each educator’s strengths and areas of development.
  4. Job shadowing: This allows teachers to gain hands-on experience by observing a proficient educator from across EEP schools as they work to learn about teaching best practices, offering a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge.
  5. In-class observations: EEP's Central Education Unit (CEU) conducts regular in-class observations to offer teachers a valuable opportunity to refine their pedagogical practices and enhance student learning. This helps assess teacher effectiveness and provide targeted professional development opportunities. 
  6. Access to conferences: Our educators have access to renowned local and international conferences, allowing them to gain valuable experience, learn about best practices, and stay abreast of all the trends in education.

Grow Our Own program: Through this signature program, EEP identifies and supports exceptional co-teachers, providing them with the opportunity to earn the prestigious International Postgraduate Secondary Education certificate. This empowers co-teachers to give their best and constantly seek growth and development.

Champions program: EEP is always on the lookout for exceptional and well-versed teachers within the network to share their knowledge and expertise with their peers through dedicated sessions and workshops. This gives our educators the chance to collaborate, learn from each other, and continue developing and growing professionally.

Career Pathways

EEP provides students with the tools and support they need to make informed career decisions and thrive in today's dynamic world, with opportunities for students to explore various fields and industries, discover their passions, and excel in both university and their future careers. Our school's comprehensive career and university counseling programs include:

  1. Access to online resources: Students have access to various online resources to open doors for them to explore universities, internships, and get help with college applications. 
  2. Dedicated career and university counseling departments: The Career and University Counseling Department (CUCD) encompasses a personalized holistic approach to supporting students every step of the way, providing a range of services to school students to help them explore their career options and prepare for higher education. This includes counseling sessions, career assessments, college admissions counseling, resume writing, personal branding sessions, and university-specific tests. 
  3. EEP Internship Program: The program is designed to equip our students with the skills, exposure, and confidence needed to navigate the future workplace. Unlike traditional academic initiatives, the program offers practical learning that gives students a competitive edge early on, with exposure to diverse fields and networking with industry leaders. Over the years, the program has gained significant momentum, empowering more students, both inside and outside the EEP network, and attracting more renowned companies.
  4. EEP Scholarship Program: EEP offers a range of scholarships to recognize exceptional student achievement. The Academic Scholarship rewards academic excellence, while the Co-Curricular Scholarship celebrates talents in arts, sports, and various other areas. The Top Attendance Scholarship recognizes consistent attendance, the Academic University Award supports top graduates pursuing higher education at prestigious institutions, and the Study Abroad Scholarship is a financial award granted to outstanding students to study abroad. 
  5. Partnerships with prestigious local and international universities: These partnerships offer our students exclusive benefits such as discounted application fees and discounts on tuition fees

Career Week: This week-long event takes place across our school, including various activations and events, such as inspiring guest speakers from different fields and industries who share their experience with students, informative workshops on topics such as resume writing, interviewing skills, and career planning, and career counseling sessions to help students explore their career options and set goals. During or right after Career Week is held, university visits are organized for students.
  7. University visits: They are organized regularly throughout the academic year after the career weeks for high school students, enabling them to experience university life, tour the campus, meet the university representatives, know more about the admission process, and ask any questions they have.

Local University Fair: This event brings representatives from local universities that are based in Egypt to our school campus to offer students a glimpse of university life, the admission process, colleges, and more. This allows students to gain important knowledge that will help them make the right decision when choosing their university. 
  9. International University Fair: In partnership with UniPal, a student recruitment agency, EEP organizes international university fairs for students across its schools, bringing representatives from esteemed universities to pave the way for students to pursue their studies abroad. This expands students’ options and allows them to have all the resources and knowledge needed to make an informed decision about their future.
